We can just say it. The CWA team is filled with good people with big hearts for our local community. Here are a few special community interests we are super passionate about.
The Nashville Alzheimer’s Golf Classic at The Governors Club
Since 1995, Mike Estes and the Capital Wealth Advisors team has hosted a three day golf charity tournament filled with CWA clients, friends and family all coming together for fellowship and to raise much needed funds for research. A Patron’s party is held on the first Sunday night in June before tournament play on Monday and concludes with a silent and live auction at the Governors Club Golf House, Brentwood, TN.
From 1995-2007, the benefactor was the March of Dimes. In 2008, the focus shifted to Alzheimer’s Research and with Pat Summitt’s diagnosis, a partnership was created to help build the University of Tennessee Pat Summitt Alzheimer’s Clinic, which will open December 2016. Since its simple beginning in 1995, the event has raised well in excess of 2 million dollars – a number we are all very proud of!
2nd Harvest of Middle Tennessee
For over 30 years, the annual Harvest Moon Ball has been Second Harvest Food Bank’s largest fundraising event celebrating hunger relief efforts. CWA is a presenting sponsor for the Harvest Moon Ball and Title Sponsor of the Harvest Moon Ball Late Party.
Brian Cook sits on the steering committee and on an advisory board for Friends of the Second Harvest Food Bank. CWA has sponsored the annual Harvest Moon Ball and Late Party, which is Second Harvest Food Bank’s largest fundraising event celebrating hunger relief efforts.
